Service terms, acceptable use and customer responsibilities.
These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by HostSlick e. K. By ordering, using or renewing any service, the customer agrees to these terms.

HostSlick provides dedicated servers, bare metal servers, colocation-related services, IP transit, high-bandwidth hosting and related internet infrastructure services. The exact scope of service depends on the product ordered and the individual agreement.
Customers must use all services lawfully. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Customers are responsible for all traffic generated by their services. High-bandwidth, unmetered or flat-rate services must be used fairly and within the technical limits of the ordered product. HostSlick may apply filtering, rate limits or temporary restrictions if traffic causes network instability, abuse complaints or risk to the platform.
The customer is responsible for securing their servers, operating systems, applications, passwords, control panels and data. HostSlick is not responsible for damage caused by insecure software, weak passwords, compromised systems or customer-side misconfiguration.
Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. Services may be suspended or terminated if payment is overdue. Re-activation may require full payment of all open invoices and possible administrative or remote-hands fees.
HostSlick may suspend or terminate services without prior notice in cases of abuse, illegal activity, non-payment, security risk, network risk or violation of these terms. In urgent abuse or security cases, immediate action may be taken to protect the network.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, customers are solely responsible for their own backups. HostSlick does not guarantee the availability, integrity or restoration of customer data. Upon termination or cancellation, data may be deleted permanently.
Support is provided through the official HostSlick client area and support ticket system. Managed support is only included if explicitly stated in the ordered service.
Abuse reports may result in investigation, customer notification, filtering, suspension or immediate termination depending on severity. The customer must respond to abuse reports in a timely manner and resolve the issue permanently.
HostSlick is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, data loss, business interruption, reputation damage or damages caused by third parties, upstream providers, power outages, force majeure or customer-side actions, except where liability is mandatory under applicable law.
HostSlick operates its infrastructure with commercially reasonable care. However, no service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free unless a separate written SLA applies. Maintenance, outages, attacks, upstream issues or hardware failures may affect availability.
HostSlick may update these Terms of Service and product conditions when necessary. Continued use of the services after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
